Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a part-time behavioral health counselor to implement, coordinate, and oversee services.

The role includes assessment and direct counseling for individuals and families, ensuring treatment plans are followed and clinically appropriate in line with policies and regulations. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in a human services field and a professional license; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human services field is required.
• Professional license in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work is required.
• Proficient with computers and Office 365; experience with an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.

Job description

Status: Part Time Hourly

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Hourly Rate: $45 (rate based on experience)

Schedule: Flexible hours; up to 40 hours per week possible; may include evenings and weekends.

Summary of the Position:This position is responsible for implementing, coordinator, and overseeing behavioral health services. Provide assessment and direct counseling to the individual and family. Ensure that all components of the treatment plan are being implemented and are clinically appropriate as determined by the diagnosis and assessment. Ensure that all services are provided in compliance with YAP policies and State/Federal Regulations.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in one of the following human services fields or related clinical field is required.
• Professional License in the practice of Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work required.
• Proficient with computers and Office 365; experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.
