Job summary

Children's Health in Irving, TX is seeking a Value Analysis Manager to lead the value analysis process across medical, surgical, and non-medical portfolios. You will drive evidence-based cost containment, ensure product safety and quality, and work with clinical and administrative leaders to achieve savings targets above $1M annually.

This role requires at least five years in healthcare value analysis, strong data analytics, and the ability to influence decisions with physicians and executives.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of healthcare value analysis experience.
• Strong ability to use spreadsheets and databases (Excel required).
• Excellent presentation skills preferred.
• Experience with cost containment and expense management preferred.
• Background in supply chain management, sourcing, contracting or project management preferred.
• Ability to interact with C-suite, senior leadership, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Leads a Value Analysis Team and project management activity for assigned portfolio.
• Develops strategies to reduce supply expense through standardization and data-driven analysis.
• Identifies opportunities for cost reductions and quality improvements.
• Gathers product/service data to support value analysis committees.
• Ensures unbiased trials and documents results of evaluations.
• Performs cost analyses and tracks cost savings from value analysis initiatives.
• Collaborates with clinical and non-clinical leadership to communicate changes and educate stakeholders.
• Supports new technology assessments and conversions to improve utilization.
• Reviews product performance and resolves issues with vendors.
• Negotiates with vendors to ensure best-value criteria.
• Interacts with physician leadership and senior leaders to determine next steps.
