Job summary

K2 Medical Research in Boston, MA, seeks a Pharmacy Specialist to support our clinic in a full-time capacity. The role assists the Pharmacy team with drug handling, compliance, and documentation of study drug flows in accordance with FDA regulations and protocol requirements.

The position emphasizes training staff, quality assurance, sponsor relations, and efficient operation of both Phase 1 and outpatient pharmacy activities within a patient-first environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license or PharmD required.
• 2+ years pharmacy technician experience.
• Pharmacy technician certification and Board of Pharmacy license required.

Responsibilities

• Drug management, storage, dispensing, return of drug products and labeling accuracy in line with FDA regulations and study protocol.
• Quality assurance of study drug products and sterile technique competency.
• Assist in developing and evaluating training for Clinic staff interacting with the pharmacy to ensure compliance.
• Interact with sponsors/clients to address study handling, drug return, and close-out procedures as per protocol requirements.
• Perform other duties to support Phase 1 and outpatient pharmacy operations.
