Job summary

K2 Medical Research in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to support ongoing trials and ensure adherence to GCP and sponsor SOPs. The role involves source documentation, patient interviews, and coordination with investigators and CROs.

Ideal candidates are bilingual in Spanish/English with a clinical background; certifications such as phlebotomy or nursing are preferred, and a four-day work week option is available alongside comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish/English highly desired.
• HS Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Experience in a clinical environment; Parkinson's/neurodegenerative focus ideal.
• Phlebotomy, LPN, RN or other medical licensure preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of GCP and FDA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Understand assigned studies through protocols and investigator meetings.
• Adhere to the study protocol and obtain necessary exemptions.
• Communicate protocol issues to CRO/Sponsor and site team.
• Collect initial psychiatric and medical information by interviewing patients.
• Maintain source documentation and sponsor data records.
• Dispense and maintain accurate records of study medication.
• Educate patients and families about the study and clinical trials.
