K2 Medical Research in The Villages, FL is hiring Clinical Research Assistants to support our Phase I unit. You will collaborate with site staff to ensure protocol compliance, assist with screening, consent, and data collection, and maintain source documentation across trials in neurodegenerative to cardiometabolic areas.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience in a clinical environment preferred; clinical research ideal.
• LPN/RN licensure or medical certification preferred.
• Applicants with related education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Screen candidates and assist coordinators to maintain timely flow.
• Read protocols, attend meetings, and coordinate with the Principal Investigator.
• Support Site Director and Project Management on projects as needed.
• Adhere to the study protocol and obtain necessary exemptions.
• Communicate protocol issues to CRO/Sponsor and site leadership.
• Interview patients to collect initial medical information.
• Maintain source documentation and communicate with sponsors/CROs.
• Educate patients and families about the study and trials.
• Dispense and maintain records of study medication.
