Job summary

Cross Country Allied seeks a Travel Pharmacist for an inpatient role in Boston, MA. The position involves dispensing research medications for clinical trials and ensuring protocol compliance within a dedicated pharmacy unit.

You will collaborate with the Clinical Trials Pharmacy team to review protocols, draft dispense instructions, monitor drug safety, and ensure conformity with state and federal regulations. 40-hour weeks, dayshift, travel assignment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Massachusetts Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Travel assignment in Boston, 40 hours/week, days shift.
• Inpatient pharmaceutical operations with investigational drugs and clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe medication preparation and handling of investigational sterile and non-sterile medications.
• Review protocol documents and draft dispense instructions.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws for investigational drugs.
• Act as liaison between CTP and compounding units.
• Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and review patient medications for interactions.
• Supervise technicians and conduct quality control checks.
• Participate in sponsor monitoring visits and audits.
