Job summary

NYU Langone Health in New York City is seeking a Research Data Associate to support clinical trials and research by collecting, managing, and validating data under supervision. You will work with the School of Medicine and Medical Center staff and may interface with patients and families.

Key duties include coordinating specimen materials, accurate data entry, ensuring protocol compliance, and preparing data for reports to sponsors and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree plus one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patient/subject and families in a courteous and professional manner.
• Gathers, properly packages, stores and transfers slides, samples and other materials.
• May complete assessments on study subjects per protocol and follow through with items and patients as part of the research.
• Ensures protocol compliance and proper documentation including regulatory requirements.
• Under supervision, acts as an internal auditor during quarterly internal audits for other studies.
• Inputs data into databases and assists in data collection for publications or reports.
