Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine, part of NYU Langone Health, is seeking a Research Data Associate to provide data and clinical research support for trials and studies under supervision.

The role involves coordinating data collection, participant screening, and data transfers, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and timely reporting. Minimum qualifications include an Associate's degree plus one year of related experience; a Bachelor's in a science field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree plus one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and families professionally and courteously.
• Gather, package, store, and transfer slides, samples and materials.
• May collect ECG, blood draws, vital signs with proper training, and travel to study initiation as needed.
• Ensure protocol compliance and eligibility criteria; document accordingly.
• Maintain knowledge of host institution policies and regulatory requirements (IRB, etc.).
• Support internal audits and monitor regulatory status for studies.
• Initiate and maintain regular contact with patients to encourage visits and compliance.
• Collect and input data into databases or case report forms; assist with data extraction for publications.
• Prepare data for presentation to sponsors and regulatory bodies; generate progress reports.
