The role focuses on reviewing financial provisions of research agreements, developing budgets and ensuring compliance with university and sponsor requirements.

The Manager will lead day-to-day operations, mentor staff, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure fiscally sound agreements and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned team, providing day-to-day leadership, mentorship, oversight and guidance.
• Participates in recruiting and onboarding; trains, mentors and supervises staff. Prepares performance reports.
• Prepares standard to moderately complex Medicare Coverage Analyses (MCAs); develops and negotiates research budgets and financial terms of research agreements.
• Participates in discussions and provides input on objectives for programs and projects.
• Creates reports, data summaries and engages in statistical analysis pertaining to the team.
• Tracks research budgets and payment terms development and negotiations; monitors day-to-day work distribution.
