Advanced Rheumatology of Houston is seeking a Clinical Trial Research Assistant for our onsite outpatient clinic near The Woodlands, TX. You will join a dedicated research team and support specimen handling, documentation, patient recruitment, and regulatory submissions throughout the study lifecycle.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field and prior lab experience with biological specimens.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (US university).
• Previous lab experience with biological specimen handling.
• Must live within 30 minutes of The Woodlands, TX.

Responsibilities

• Process and ship biological specimens per study protocol.
• Maintain lab inventory and order clinical trial supplies.
• Ensure accurate and complete study documentation per regulations.
• Support coordinators with testing procedures and trial conduct.
• Advertise, screen, recruit, and enroll patients in clinical trials.
• Obtain informed consent and explain study participation.
• Schedule appointments, tests, and procedures.
• Data entry into eCRFs/databases.
• Prepare and submit reports to IRB/FDA/DSMB.
• Maintain knowledge of study protocols and SOPs.
• Prepare for monitoring visits and audits.
• Help collect and report adverse events.
• Attend ongoing research training.
