Job summary

The Cancer & Hematology Centers is seeking a Research Assistant to support the research department in clinical trial conduct and related activities. The role requires attention to detail and coordination across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include handling biological samples, maintaining trial supply records, and assisting with regulatory documentation and meetings. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or associate degree in life sciences and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Associate degree in life sciences (preferred) or equivalent.
• Specific skills & abilities: Research knowledge; Current driver's license (must not be suspended).

Responsibilities

• Process, ship, and catalog biological samples for central laboratories.
• Maintain accurate records of clinical trial supplies at multiple locations; monitor and reorder supplies as needed.
• Review study protocols and assist in regulatory documentation.
• Transport investigational products and supplies to CHCWM satellite sites; travel up to 30%.
• Assist in filing/organizing essential documentation for clinical research.
• Attend meetings regarding clinical studies and assist in generating department metrics.
