Job summary

Urology Austin is seeking an experienced Research Assistant to support its clinical research team in patient recruitment, testing, and specimen collection. The RA will work with study sponsors, investigators, and staff to ensure protocol adherence and data integrity.

The role offers exposure to FDA/ICH guidelines, GCPs, and HIPAA-compliant patient interactions in a clinical setting, with clear pathways toward CRC roles and growth within the department.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GCPs and FDA clinical trial regulations.
• Experience following clinical study protocols and SOPs.
• Proficiency with EMR, Practice Management systems, and EDC/IVRS.

Responsibilities

• Review and follow Urology Austin Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist in protocol administration and documentation.
• Explain study purposes, risks, and consent to patients.
• Screen potential candidates and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain source documents and data capture (EDC) in accordance with sponsor requirements.
• Coordinate with study coordinators and IRB as needed.
