Job summary

Woodlands Private Outpatient Medical Clinic in The Woodlands, TX seeks a Clinical Trial Research Assistant to join the clinical research team in an onsite capacity. You will manage specimen handling, documentation, patient enrollment, and coordination of study activities within a private outpatient setting.

You will support coordinators, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with protocols and SOPs. A strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a science-related field US University.
• Previous lab experience with biological specimen handling.
• Proficient in maintaining documentation and adhering to study protocols.

Responsibilities

• Process and ship biological specimens per study protocol.
• Maintain lab inventory and order clinical trial supplies.
• Ensure accurate and complete study documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Support research coordinators with testing procedures and trial conduct.
• Advertise, screen, recruit, and enroll patients in clinical trials.
• Obtain informed consent and explain study participation clearly.
• Schedule appointments, tests, and study-related procedures.
• Assist with data entry into eCRFs and databases.
• Prepare and submit reports to IRB, FDA, DSMB.
• Maintain knowledge of current study protocols and SOPs.
• Prepare for monitoring visits, sponsor audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Help collect and report adverse events.
• Attend ongoing training and continuing education.
