Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking a budget-focused professional to develop budgets for 30+ industry-sponsored clinical trials annually, analyzing one-time and per-patient personnel, procedure, and supply costs to allocate resources efficiently and in alignment with sponsor expectations.

You will negotiate budgets with sponsors, set discounts for technical and professional fees with the Center for Clinical Research, track income and accrual across 75+ trials, invoice milestones, renegotiate budgets

Responsibilities

• Negotiate budgets with sponsors and advise investigators and CTU management on costs of trials so that resources can be appropriately allocated.
• Negotiates appropriate discounts for technical and professional fees with Center for Clinical Research and professional groups.
• Tracks income and accrual for over 75 clinical trials a year to ensure that negotiated amounts and time frames are adhered to.
• Invoices sponsors based on negotiated milestones.
• Renegotiates budgets based on changes to protocol.
• Works with Center for Clinical Research to track and prioritize clinical trial agreements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
