Job summary

Stony Brook Medicine is seeking a Clinical Transformation Analyst to partner with clinicians in designing and optimizing healthcare applications. The role blends health sciences with information science to manage data supporting clinical practice and patient safety.

The incumbent will coordinate with education teams, support evidence-based methods, and drive process improvement while aligning with regulatory requirements and standards of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or allied health with related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years Healthcare Informatics experience.
• Minimum of 3 years healthcare related clinical experience.
• Experience/knowledge of clinical application implementation is required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinicians to design and optimize healthcare applications.
• Analyze data to identify diagnosis, problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and clinical standards.
• Serve as liaison in project initiatives and coordinate with education/training teams.
• Support process improvement teams in identifying efficient use of information systems.
• Facilitate meetings and advise on training vs workflow or system issues.
