Job summary

TCH Medical Center is seeking a Systems Analyst to translate user needs into detailed requirements and to evaluate and document current and target clinical/business processes. You will support vendor analysis and the implementation cycle, ensuring system configurations align with project goals.

The role requires evaluating existing systems, documenting as-is and to-be processes, and coordinating system upgrades across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Required HS Diploma or GED.
• Required 4 years' experience in information systems.
• Bachelor's degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience.
• Master's degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience.
• Up to one (1) year of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for the one (1) year of required information systems experience on a month-to-month basis

Responsibilities

• Translates users’ needs into detailed requirement specifications
• Assists users in determining specific requirements to increase system effectiveness
• Analyze and evaluate existing and /or proposed systems
• Document the "as is" the "to be" clinical/business processes
• Assists in vendor analysis and selection
• Investigate alternative solutions including feasibility studies using results from vendor analysis/evaluations
• Supports the system installation through the implementation cycle
• Performs configuration analysis for system design associated with small and less complex projects
• Analyzes system problems and modifications
• Coordinates implementation and upgrades of systems

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Bachelor's degree substitute for 4 years of work experience

Master's degree substitute for 2 years of work experience
