Job summary

Ascension in Milwaukee is seeking a Front-End Revenue Cycle Specialist to optimize patient access and billing workflows. You will work hands-on with insurance plans, benefits, and denials, providing EMR training and partnering with leadership to improve adoption and outcomes.

The role requires 2+ years of Epic software experience, a strong understanding of insurance processes, and a willingness to be onsite 75% of the time with flexible remote work for project tasks.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• This position will focus on front-end revenue cycle.


• Hands on work with insurance plans, benefits & claim denials.


• Assesses system issues, provides EMR training to improve function, standards, and patient outcomes.


• Partners with leadership to improve training, adoption, and optimization strategies to meet goals.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.


• Minimum of 2 years of Epic Software.


• Front-End Revenue Cycle experience.


• In-depth knowledge and understanding of insurance plans and benefits.


• Willingness to investigate claim denials, including root cause analysis.


• The expectation for this position is to be onsite 75% of the time, though this may vary week to week.


• The role is partially remote, offering flexibility for administrative and project work.
