Job summary

The University of Minnesota in Minneapolis is seeking a Clinical Trainer and Technical Consultant (Casual) to design and deliver diverse behavioral health training initiatives that improve workforce practice. The role focuses on curriculum content development and technology transfer resources for online, live-virtual, and in-person delivery.

You will develop and update culturally and trauma-responsive content, ensure CE requirements are met, and provide practical tools for frontline

Qualifications

• Diversity, equity, and inclusion in course design and delivery.
• Master's degree or higher in a behavioral health field (clinical license preferred).
• Strong clinical background with co-occurring disorders experience.
• Commitment to recovery-oriented, person-centered practices.
• Hands-on online course and workshop development, including video production.
• Ability to distill complex concepts into user-friendly resources.
• Experience delivering asynchronous, live-virtual, and in-person training.
• Trauma-informed and culturally responsive practice expertise.
• Flexible, project-based work availability.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce asynchronous training content, including scripting, recording, and editing educational videos.
• Build interactive, digitally accessible online learning modules.
• Ensure training materials meet continuing education requirements and competencies.
• Create culturally and trauma-responsive curriculum content for multiple delivery modes.
• Deliver competency-based workshops to county staff and community providers.
• Write technical support materials and toolkits.
• Translate complex concepts into practical tools for daily practice.
• Provide targeted technical consultation for evidence-informed implementation.
