Job summary

AFC Urgent Care PNW seeks a Clinical Training Assistant to mentor back-office staff from onboarding to annual training. You must be experienced in Medical Assisting and flexible with training methods across multiple clinics in the Portland area.

This full-time role requires travel between clinics, a Monday–Friday schedule, and compensation of $28–$33 per hour, plus a monthly travel stipend, team bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including free healthcare for you and your family.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certificate from a Medical Assistant program or equivalent on-the-job training.
• 1+ year supervisory and/or training experience required.
• Preferred: 1+ year medical office experience, urgent care bonus.
• Preferred: X-ray experience (RT or LXMO).

Responsibilities

• Onboarding new staff, including scheduling and system setup.
• Designing curricula and delivering training across locations.
• Conduct training needs assessments and 2-week hands-on training.
• Develop training materials and track employee progress.
• Communicate issues to Clinic Manager, Training Manager, or HR.
