Job summary

(CHR) Community Health Resources, Inc. seeks a Clinical Trainer to develop and deliver Zero Suicide training for clinical and non-clinical staff.

The role emphasizes evidence-based programs aligned with behavioral health best practices and requires coordinating trainings and evaluating outcomes. The position supports a grant-funded program across 20 towns in North Central CT, with hybrid weekday hours and a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing and delivering training in behavioral health.
• Experience in a non-profit environment is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and related tech.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, coordinate, and develop Zero Suicide training programs for CHR staff.
• Ensure programs are evidence-based and align with best practice in behavioral health.
• Identify learning needs through job analysis and management consultation.
• Coordinate and conduct training requests and provide improvement recommendations.
• Maintain communication about training events and information.
• Conduct follow-up studies to evaluate training effectiveness.
• Organize and track staff completion of training.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and meets deadlines.
