Job summary

Community Health Resources seeks a Clinical Trainer to support the Zero Suicide program in Windsor, CT. This full-time role focuses on designing and coordinating evidence-based training for clinical and non-clinical staff.

You will lead LMS-based training, assess needs, track completion, and ensure compliance while contributing to program evaluation and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in training development and delivery in behavioral health.
• Experience in a non-profit environment is desirable.
• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, coordinate and/or develop Zero Suicide training programs addressing needs of CHR staff.
• Ensure training programs are evidenced-based and align with best practice in behavioral health.
• Identify learning needs through job analysis and management consultation.
• Coordinate and conduct training and retraining requests and provide improvement recommendations.
• Maintain communication to inform employees of training events and information.
• Conduct follow-up studies to measure training effectiveness.
• Organize and track staff completion of training.
• Ensure all programs comply with laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
• Ensure accurate documentation per department and external expectations.
