Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States in Des Moines, Lincoln, Omaha, and Sioux Falls seeks a Training and Development Specialist Clinician to analyze, develop, deliver and evaluate organizational training for Advanced Practice Clinicians/Health Center Providers.

The role includes providing clinical reproductive health services at PPNCS clinics and advancing our mission to protect sexual and reproductive healthcare for all.

Qualifications

• Current state license as RN/APN with specialization in Women's Health or PA license in IA/MN/NE.
• Active DEA license in licensure state and prescriptive authority requirements.
• Two years of experience in family planning.
• Current Healthcare provider BLS certification.
• Two years’ experience in family planning and ability to insert/remove IUCs as needed.
• Access to independent transportation and willingness to travel to clinic sites.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop training materials (self-learning, group, conferences) for staff and clinicians.
• Develop and implement training plans for new employees and ongoing needs.
• Deliver training curriculum in approved formats and evaluate learning transfer.
• Maintain files and documentation of training materials with HR.
• Support standardization of evidence-based clinical practices.
• Evaluate clinical training effectiveness and impact on patient care.
• Assist staff in aligning with PPNCS mission and values.
• Learn and utilize IT/e-learning applications for training.
