Job summary

Planned Parenthood is seeking a Training and Development Specialist Clinician to analyze, develop, deliver, and evaluate organizational training for Advanced Practice Clinicians/Health Center Providers. The role includes providing clinical services, including reproductive health care, at PPNCS clinics.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with clinical leadership to design training, implement plans across Des Moines, IA; Lincoln, NE; Omaha, NE; and Sioux Falls, SD, and participate in ongoing

Qualifications

• Current state license as RN/APN in IA, MN or NE with National Certification as Nurse Practitioner (Women’s Health Care, Adult or Family) OR current state license as Physician’s Assistant in IA, MN or NE.
• DEA license in the state of current licensure and practice is required.
• Master’s degree may be required for credentialing by third party payers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver training programs for Advanced Practice Clinicians/Health Center Providers.
• Assess needs and create training plans for new employees and ongoing staff development.
• Deliver curriculum in approved formats and evaluate learning transfer to the jobsite.
• Promote standardization of evidence-based clinical practices and patient care.
