Job summary

Mosaic Life Care seeks a Clinical Training Coordinator to manage medical student rotations in NW Missouri, coordinating preceptors, schedules, and onboarding. You’ll ensure liability, immunization, background check compliance and smooth EMR access for learners.

You will enter rotation data into APEX, work with AHEC leadership, and support interdisciplinary training while maintaining records and coordinating with UMKC School of Medicine and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in an educational or healthcare setting required.
• Valid driver’s license required upon hire.
• Strong writing, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serves as liaison between NWMO AHEC and UMKC School of Medicine to coordinate rotations and ensure on-site readiness.
• Prepare schedules by confirming preceptor availability and provide reminders to preceptors, clinics, and students.
• Onboard new students including EMR training, badge access, and orientation; assist with class scheduling.
• Track compliance with UMKC/Mosaic preceptor contracts and credential preceptors for faculty appointments.
• Coordinate workshops, didactics, and Inter-Professional Education (IPE) events.
• Enter rotation data into the APEX statewide database and monitor student progress.
