Responsibilities

• Interview and document patient responses in the medical record.
• Administer and document prescribed medications and treatments.
• Monitor and report patient responses to medications to providers.
• Document medication refills and coordinate with patients.
• Assist with examinations, prepare sterile fields and equipment.
• Collect and prepare lab specimens and conduct point-of-care testing.
• Enter data into the computer system accurately, manage registrations and visits.
• Maintain sanitary, safe clinic areas and assist with referrals as needed.
• Provide patient education materials and handle appointment scheduling.
