Job summary

Mosaic Life Care in Missouri is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (MA) to support patient flow, gather information, and perform a range of clinical tasks under supervision.

The MA will assist providers, prepare exam rooms, document in the medical record, and manage medication administration and patient education. Strong communication and accuracy are essential in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• If hired after 06/01/2021 will need to complete a Medical Assistant training program.
• Six months physician’s office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patient and documents patient’s response in the medical record.
• Administers and documents prescribed medications and treatments.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses to medications and treatments.
• Enter patient data into computer system accurately and completely.
• Cleans and maintains patient care areas and equipment.
• Arranges for patient referral testing and follow-up.
