Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Professional for a full-time role in Wisconsin. The position includes 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $25.30–$46.05 per hour and full benefits.

Responsibilities include performing and overseeing laboratory tests, ensuring accuracy, calibration, and QA across multiple departments to support critical care needs. Licensure is required, with MT/MLS certifications via ASCP/AMT and a Bachelor 4s degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include alternate site assignment.

Responsibilities

• Performs, evaluates, and monitors laboratory tests as authorized within established protocols.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance, validity and appropriateness.
• Performs and documents calibration, maintenance and repair of instruments and equipment.
• Performs, documents and reviews quality control and quality assurance for improvement.
• Collects specimens from newborn, pediatric, and adult patients according to established protocol.
• Provides general direction, training, competency review and technical assistance to staff.
• Assists in improving the quality and efficiency of laboratory procedures, policies, and processes.
