The role focuses on radiation measurements, calibration, and safety in a collaborative oncology setting. The candidate should hold a Master’s or PhD in Medical Physics, with ABR certification or CAMPEP residency eligibility, and 2+ years of clinical therapy physics experience.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s or PhD in Medical Physics.
• ABR certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics or CAMPEP residency is required/eligible.
• 2+ years of clinical Therapy Medical Physics experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform weekly and monthly radiation measurements, and yearly calibration on all treatment units.
• Monitor Radiation Oncology equipment for safe and correct function.
• Maintain regulatory agency records and reports.
• Analyze alternative treatment plans and supervise dosimetry planning functions.
• Implement patient care based on developmental stages of the patient.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
