Job summary

St. Charles Health System is seeking a Medical Physicist to support Cancer Services Radiation Therapy. You will ensure safe, accurate delivery of treatments and maintain documentation per AAPM/ASTRO/ACR guidelines.

The role requires a Master's in Medical Physics, ABR/ABMP/CCPM eligibility, and at least 2 years in a medical center setting. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Medical Physics from an accredited program.
• CAMPEP or other accredited residency preferred.
• Board eligibility in ABR, ABMP or CCPM; certification within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical physics services and maintain QA of treatment equipment.
• Maintain RayStation, ARIA, and MIM systems and accuracy.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety programs.
• Support patient care with physics consultations and calculations.
• Contribute to department policies and radiological safety oversight.
