Job summary

Thriving Center of Psychology is seeking a licensed Clinical Lead Therapist to guide a multidisciplinary team while maintaining an active clinical caseload. This leadership role is remote with one day per week in our New York City office, ideal for mentors who value clinical excellence and collaborative practice.

You will supervise, develop, and support clinicians, promote evidence-based care, and partner with Clinical Managers to drive quality improvements across the team.

Qualifications

• Active independent NY license (LCSW/LMHC/LMFT or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years post-licensure experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience (supervisory or lead role preferred).
• Dedication to evidence-based mental health care.
• Experience in outpatient or private practice settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Active Caseload while modeling clinical excellence.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to the team.
• Guide scheduling, caseload management, and documentation quality.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing professional development for clinicians.
• Collaborate with Clinical Managers on system improvements and quality initiatives.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as needed.
• Coordinate across EST, CST, and PST time zones.

Clinical Lead Therapist – Thriving Center of Psychology

Thriving Center of Psychology is a nationally recognized, clinician-led group practice dedicated to delivering evidence-based therapy and upholding the highest standards of mental health care. Our multidisciplinary team of psychologists, psychiatrists, and independently licensed mental health professionals is committed to fostering both client success and clinicians' ongoing professional growth.

We are seeking an experienced and licensed Clinical Lead Therapist to join our team. This unique leadership position, working remotely with 1 day a week in one of our NYC offices. Ideal for therapists passionate about mentorship, clinical excellence, and collaborative practice. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain Active Caseload: Provide high-quality, direct client care while serving as a role model for clinical excellence and service standards within your pod of clinicians.

• Clinical Leadership & Mentorship: Offer first-line support, consultation, and guidance to your team; encourage evidence-based practice, mentorship, and a psychologically safe, collaborative culture.

• Operational & Caseload Support: Guide scheduling practices, caseload management, and ensure timely, accurate documentation. Identify and elevate workflow, burnout, and operational concerns to leadership.

• Team Development: Lead onboarding and integration of new clinicians; support ongoing professional development and skills enhancement for team members.

• Leadership Collaboration: Work directly with Clinical Managers and leadership on systems improvement, quality initiatives, and communication across the team.

• On-Call Coverage: Provide after-hours support as needed.

• Cross-Time Zone Support: Collaborate with clinicians across EST, CST, and PST time zones as required.

Qualifications:

• Active independent license in New York (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent)

• Ability to work in a hybrid (New York) position

• Must reside in either NY or NJ.

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $125,000
