Thriving Center of Psychology in New York is seeking a Clinical Lead Psychologist to guide a pod of clinicians, maintain clinical excellence, and advance your leadership journey while continuing meaningful client work.

You'll mentor colleagues, shape the culture, oversee scheduling and documentation, onboarding, and lead cross-team collaboration across Pacific, Central, and Eastern time zones to ensure top-tier care.

Qualifications

  • Active, independent license as a Psychologist in New York (Ph.D., Psy.D., or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 3 years post-licensure clinical experience.
  • Leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experience (formal or informal).
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and strong clinical judgment.

  • Lead and Mentor: Act as a primary clinical resource for your pod, guiding clinicians through complex cases.

About the Role

What You’ll Do

  • On-Call Coverage: Provide after-hours support as needed to ensure the highest standard of care.

  • Cross-Country Impact: Support clinicians across Pacific, Central, and Eastern time zones.

Who We’re Looking For
  • Licensed Psychologist in New York (Ph.D., Psy.D., or equivalent)

  • Minimum 3 years of post-licensure clinical experience

  • Leadership Mindset: Demonstrated aptitude for mentorship, supervision, or peer consultation

  • Clinical Expertise: Commitment to evidence-based practices and strong clinical judgment

  • Operational Finesse: Comfort navigating evolving systems in a fast-growing environment

  • Preferred: Prior outpatient or private practice experience

Requirements
  • Active, independent license as a Psychologist in relevant state (e.g., New York; Ph.D., Psy.D., or equivalent required)

  • Minimum of 3 years post-licensure clinical experience

  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and strong clinical judgment

  • Experience in outpatient, group, or private practice settings (strongly preferred)

  • Proven ability to foster a collaborative, supportive, growth-oriented team culture

  • Comfort with evolving systems and workflows in rapidly growing organizations

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain timely clinical documentation

  • Must be able to work in a hybrid (remote/in-person) or telehealth setting as specified

  • Must reside in either NY or NJ.
