Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. seeks a Clinical Therapist II, LCADC to join our multidisciplinary clinical treatment team.

You will treat patients using multiple modalities and provide psychosocial interventions supporting patients and families dealing with behavioral health, mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. This role requires a MSW or related master’s degree, NJ licensure, and at least two years post-licensure experience, with strong assessment, treatment planning,

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Master’s degree in Addiction/Counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure work experience in the same field.
• Ability to perform psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention theory and its application in diverse settings.
• Knowledge of disease management and disease processes and differential diagnoses, and treatment techniques.
• Ability to work as part of a team and build collaborative relationships.
• Excellent follow through and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office and/or Google Suite).

The Clinical Therapist II, LCADC treats patients by utilizing a variety of modalities as a member of the multidisciplinary clinical treatment team. Also provides psychological/social interventions that support patients and families relating to behavioral health with primary mental health, substance use and/or co-occurring disorders.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Master`s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Master`s degree in Addiction/ Counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of post-licensure work experience in the same field.
• Ability to perform psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention theory, its application in a variety of settings, as well as knowledge of disease management and disease process and differential diagnoses, and treatment techniques.
• Knowledge in biomedical/medical client education as well as psychopharmacology/physiology of addiction.
• Ability to work as part of a team, while building collaborative relationships.
• Must possess excellent follow through and attention to detail.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Ability to provide guidance/mentorship to other team members.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Professional Counselor License or Marriage and Family Therapy,Professional Counselor.
• Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
