Job summary

Tri-City Mental Health Authority in Pomona, CA, is hiring two Clinical Therapist II to support the Access to Care program. You will conduct intake assessments, provide individual, group, and family therapy, and coordinate referrals.

Ideal candidates hold a master’s degree and state licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) and have at least two years of professional counseling experience. Bilingual Spanish abilities and proficiency with MS Office and EHR are preferred. Some field work may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
• Two years of experience providing professional counseling/therapy in a behavioral health setting.
• Valid licensure as LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred; experience with MS Office and EHR; timely clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Processes service requests, conducts intake assessments and safety/crisis screenings.
• Provides individual, group, and family interventions, counseling, and referrals.
• Develops individualized treatment plans and coordinates community linkages.
• Performs routine intake evaluations and documents medical/demographic histories.
• Educates clients and families about diagnoses, prognosis, and treatment options.
