The Clinical Medical Monitoring LCMS / Data Review Technologist Trainee will receive on-the-job training in analytical data analysis of patient samples within the Clinical ToxAssure Laboratory. This high-volume, fast-paced laboratory performs complex testing for pain management in urine samples, analyzing over 180 analytes per assay across multiple LCMS/MS platforms using Ascent cloud processing.

Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Offers are based on skills, relevant experience, degrees/certifications, and internal and market considerations.

Work Schedule: Sunday/Monday/Thursday/Friday, 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Shift: 2nd shift, with shift differential.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Overtime may be required based on departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate LC-MS/MS instruments using the cloud-based Ascent platform.
  • Evaluate and prioritize batches of specimens for testing.
  • Perform extensive electronic data analysis outside the laboratory.
  • Identify and handle unacceptable or unusual specimens.
  • Follow SOPs for data analysis, calibration, and quality control.
  • Review data for accuracy, correct errors, and interpret results.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation and work areas.
  • Document all testing and maintenance activities accurately.
  • Proactively monitor assay and instrument performance to prevent delays.
  • Prepare reagents, standards, and controls as per SOPs.
  • Adhere to Good Documentation Practices.
  • Ensure high-quality patient care efficiently.
  • Participate in training and instruction of team members.
