This summer position involves working with a Teachspin condensed matter dewar. The ideal candidate will have experience working with this instrument in an undergraduate physics lab setting. Responsibilities include setting up physics experiments, data collection, and updating the lab's webpage with procedures. The role is broken down into approximately 70% setup and data collection, 20% documentation and webpage updates, and 10% data analysis and literature review. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Required Qualifications: BA/BS in Physics or a related field, at least 6 months of experience in experimental physics laboratories, coursework in physics labs (e.g., Phys 4051 and 4052), and excellent scientific writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 months of experience with the Teachspin condensed matter dewar system and 1 year of experience with Matlab.

Pay Rate: $16.25 per hour
