Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking an entry-level Clinical Technologist to support patient flow and assist in diverse clinical tasks. After a 4–6 week training period, you will perform responsibilities independently in a fast-paced clinic environment.

You will assist with patient rooming, vitals, documentation, and procedure support, while adhering to HIPAA and UVVC standards. Strong EMR skills and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred).
• Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program.
• Strong communication skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable in medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow.
• Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness.
• Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.
• Uphold HIPAA standards, follow UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain patient confidentiality.
