Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking an entry-level Clinical Technologist to support patient flow and a variety of clinical tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment in Paradise Valley, AZ.

After completing 4-6 weeks of training, you’ll perform responsibilities independently, including patient rooming, procedure support, documentation, and inventory management, while upholding HIPAA standards and UVVC core values.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred).
• Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program.
• Strong communication skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable in medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow.
• Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness.
• Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.
• Uphold all HIPAA standards, follow UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality.
