Job summary

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to join the team for a full-time day shift (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) with rotating weekends and holidays. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and support the care team.

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma and Basic Life Support certification; strong English communication skills are required. Six weeks of paid training (virtual orientations, classroom sessions, and on-unit shifts) are

Clinical Technician 1 - Job Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• Training: Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:
  • Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
  • Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
  • Virtual training modules.
  • On-unit shifts
• May perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American HeartAssociation, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
