Job summary

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 for the Intermediate Progressive Care Unit. This full-time, day-shift role runs 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with days varying and rotating weekends and holidays, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

You will deliver direct patient care, communicate effectively with the care team, and uphold professional standards across the hospital. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification (or within 90

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• Training: Six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training including virtual orientations, classroom sessions, modules and on-unit shifts.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

This role will beFull -Time | Days | 7:00AM – 7:30PM | Days Vary | Rotating weekends & holidays |

Clinical Technician 1 -Job Responsibilities:

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• Training: Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:
  • Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
  • Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
  • Virtual training modules.
  • On-unit shifts
• May perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American HeartAssociation, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills:Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
