Job summary

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to join the Intermediate Progressive Care Unit. This full-time day position offers a 7:00 AM–7:30 PM schedule with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, communicate effectively with the care team, and uphold professionalism across the health system. Training is six weeks, paid, including virtual and on-unit components.

Clinical Technician 1 - Job Responsibilities:

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

Training :

Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

May perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire

Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
