Posting Title: Clinical Tech. (Medical Assistant) Overview

They deliver outstanding patient service, maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition or treatment response. Responsibilities

  1. Primary: Fulfill all Patient Care Specialist responsibilities, maintain friendly relations with all staff, support clinical and administrative tasks, adhere to policies and core values, ensure compliance with regulations (including HIPAA), prepare exam rooms, triage patients, assist with lab testing and procedures, maintain supplies, support telehealth services, complete patient charts accurately, coordinate referrals and pre-authorizations, perform DOT, BAT, and drug screen exams, maintain cleanliness, and perform other duties as assigned.
  2. Secondary: Assist with clerical tasks such as patient check-in, verify insurance, and answer calls professionally.
  3. Supporting Telehealth: Prepare patient charts via virtual communication, assist with follow-ups including pharmacy requests, paperwork, scheduling, and clinical calls.
  4. Additional Requirements: Depending on experience level, requirements include a high school diploma, CPR certification, and relevant clinical experience (levels 1-4). Additional duties include administrative tasks like scheduling and training. Certifications must be active within 7 days of hire.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience as an MA, EMT, or Paramedic preferred in a clinic setting, preferably urgent care
  • Active and verifiable license or certification, with TB and IV certification obtained within 60 days if applicable
