Job summary

Voyage Healthcare in Crystal, MN, is seeking a Clinical Team Lead (MA/LPN) to mentor a Medical Support Staff team and coordinate daily clinic operations. You will partner with providers and the Clinic Site Manager to maintain patient flow, ensure quality care, and support staff development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited healthcare program with current Minnesota licensure or certification.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement, discretion, and decision making.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of clinical practices, healthcare operations, and regulatory requirements.
• Previous supervisory, lead, or team coordinator experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with staff scheduling, coaching, and performance management preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow, staffing, and operational activities for the Medical Support Staff team.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of MSS team members.
• Communicate and reinforce clinic policies, procedures, workflows, and best practices.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and support as needed.
• Partner with providers, department leaders, and the Clinic Site Manager to improve clinic operations and patient experience.
• Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment and instruments.
• Oversee inventory management for medications, controlled substances, and clinical supplies.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Provide direct support within Medical Support Staff departments when operational needs arise.
• Assist the Clinic Site Manager with projects, process improvements, and other assigned responsibilities.

The Medical Support Staff (MSS) Site Coordinator serves as a clinical leader, coordinating the daily activities of the Medical Support Staff, ensuring proper staffing coverage, supporting employee development, monitoring performance, and maintaining compliance with OSHA and HIPAA standards. This position partners closely with providers, department leaders, and the Clinic Site Manager to support efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient care.

Hourly Range:$25.50 - $32.50, based on years of relevant experience.
