Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Clinical Team Lead to oversee administrative and clinical workflows in a medical office in Morgantown, WV. You will supervise staff, coordinate hiring, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations with a focus on patient service and regulatory compliance.

Successful candidates will have supervisory experience, familiarity with ModMed/EMA/EMR, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with ModMed, EMA, EMR systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and privacy rules.
• Reliable, independent worker with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforces office policies and procedures
• Assists in hiring and onboarding administrative and clinical staff
• Supervises, trains, and evaluates administrative and clinical staff
• Assists with staffing schedules and time-off requests
• Ensures customer service standards are met
• Collaborates with office management, nurses, providers, and executives
• Partners with office and regional managers to meet goals, objectives, and budgets
• Ensures regulations, guidelines, and standards are followed
• Uses EMR, billing, scheduling, and timekeeping software
• All other duties as directed and assigned

Summary

A Clinical Team Lead oversees and assists the completion of various administrative and clinical tasks within a medical office. Their main duties include managing employee workflows and addressing any provider's needs and concerns.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required
• An associate degree in healthcare management, business, or related degree is preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Familiarity with ModMed, EMA, EMR preferred
• Understanding of HIPAA laws and guidelines
• Works well independently and has strong operational skills
