Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Clinical Team Lead to oversee administrative and clinical tasks in a medical office. You will manage workflows, support providers, and help ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced dermatology environment.

The role requires supervisory experience and familiarity with EMR systems, HIPAA compliance, and strong leadership. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• An associate degree in healthcare management, business, or related field preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ModMed, EMA, EMR preferred.
• Understanding of HIPAA guidelines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforces office policies and procedures.
• Assists in hiring and onboarding administrative and clinical staff.
• Assists in supervision, training, and evaluation of administrative and clinical staff.
• Assists with staffing schedules and time-off requests.
• Ensures that customer service standards are met.
• Collaborates with office management, nurses, providers, and executives.
• Partners with office and regional managers to meet goals and budgets for the office.
• Ensures regulations, guidelines, and standards are followed.
• Uses EMR, billing, scheduling, and timekeeping software.
• All other duties as directed and assigned.

Summary

A Clinical Team Lead oversees and assists the completion of various administrative and clinical tasks within a medical office. Their main duties include managing employee workflows and addressing any provider’s needs and concerns.

Minimum Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required
• An associate degree in healthcare management, business, or related degree is preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Familiarity with ModMed, EMA, EMR preferred
• Understanding of HIPAA laws and guidelines
• Works well independently and has strong operational skills
