Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Clinical Team Lead to oversee and support administrative and clinical tasks within a medical office. You will manage workflows, support providers, and ensure smooth daily operations in a busy dermatology practice.

You will supervise staff, coordinate scheduling, uphold patient service standards, and collaborate with management to meet clinical and financial goals. This role requires leadership, HIPAA knowledge, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in healthcare management, business, or related field preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with ModMed, EMA, EMR preferred.
• Understanding of HIPAA laws and guidelines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforces office policies and procedures.
• Assists in hiring and onboarding administrative and clinical staff.
• Supervises, trains, and evaluates administrative and clinical staff.
• Assists with staffing schedules and time-off requests.
• Ensures customer service standards are met.
• Collaborates with office management, nurses, providers, and executives.
• Partners with managers to meet goals and budgets.
• Ensures regulations, guidelines, and standards are followed.
• Uses EMR and billing software for operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Summary

A Clinical Team Lead oversees and assists the completion of various administrative and clinical tasks within a medical office. Their main duties include managing employee workflows and addressing any provider’s needs and concerns.

Job Responsibilities

• Enforces office policies and procedures
• Assists in the hiring and onboard administrative and clinical staff
• Assists in the supervision, training, and evaluation of administrative and clinical staff
• Assists with staffing schedules and time off requests
• Ensures that customer service standards are met
• Collaborates with office management, nurses, providers, and executives
• Partners with office and regional managers to meet goals, objectives, and budgets for the office
• Ensures regulations, guidelines, and standards are followed
• Uses popular software for electronic medical records (EMR), billing, scheduling, and accurate timekeeping
• All other duties as directed and assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required
• An associate degree in healthcare management, business, or related degree is preferred
