Job summary

MaineHealth's Clinical Team Assistant - Entry is designed as an excellent stepping stone toward a Medical Assistant career. You will support the clinical team with daily patient services and assist with administrative tasks in a busy podiatry practice.

Working alongside an experienced Podiatrist and Medical Assistant, you gain hands-on experience, pursue BLS certification, and explore growth opportunities within outpatient care at MaineHealth.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or outpatient hospital setting preferred.

The Clinical Team Assistant (CTA) - Entry position is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career as a Medical Assistant at MaineHealth. This role provides valuable experience and serves as a pathway into the CTA-to-MA clinical training program!

Summary:
The Clinical Team Assistant - Entry role is responsible for performing daily patient service functions to support the clinical team in the delivery of patientcare.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: Previous experience in a medical office or outpatient hospital setting preferred.

The pay range for this position is $19.87to $23.75 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
