Job summary
Mercyhealth seeks an experienced application specialist to maintain and enhance clinical workflows, design optimal screen flows, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple systems. You will collaborate with vendors, end users, and project teams from assessment through implementation while occasionally leading projects.
The role requires strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of system integrations, with a focus on delivering effective solutions and ensuring successful project
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Clinical or related field preferred; equivalent combination considered.
- Prior certification in Epic application preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintains and enhances applications through workflow analysis, system design, troubleshooting, documentation, testing, and implementation.
- Collaborates with vendors and end users to resolve issues and ensure regulatory compliance during projects.
- Leads projects when required and develops functional specifications, test plans, and implementation documentation.
- Communicates project status and escalates issues as appropriate throughout project phases.
