Behavioral Health Technician – Various Shifts – San Francisco, CA
Quadrant Health Group provides evidence-based addiction treatment that leads to long-term recovery. We are hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for our San Francisco facility.
Location: San Francisco, CA
Compensation: $21-$23/hour (Based on experience)
Employment: Full-time and part-time opportunities. Various shifts available.

What You'll Do
- Team Collaboration and Communication: Provide crisis intervention and promote a healthy residential and working environment, maintain compliance with regulations, participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Client Interaction and Support: Develop professional supportive relationships, provide emotional support, encourage and guide clients and families, support comfort and safety in the residential environment, document client behavior and report observations.
- Clinical and Administrative Tasks: Collect and supervise urine analysis testing, observe medication administration, document medications, complete intake assessments and consents, conduct patient rounds every 30 minutes, record vital signs, complete contraband searches and random room searches.
- Group and Activity Facilitation: Facilitate groups, outings, educational sessions, transport clients to meetings and appointments.
- Other Responsibilities: Provide client supervision and support as assigned, report to the Director of Operations.
What You'll Bring
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the 12-step model of recovery (AA, CA, NA, Alanon)
- Professional ethics, boundaries, and patient confidentiality
- Proficiency in EHR systems and basic computer skills
- Strong organizational, time-management, and documentation skills
- Collaborative with clinical staff and administration
Qualifications
- Current and valid certification as SUDRC (Substance Use Disorder Registered Counselor) or RADTI (Registered Alcohol and Drug Technician)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Must be able to be insured under commercial auto policy
- Successful completion of pre-employment requirements (criminal background clearance, drug testing, health screening)
