Job summary

DESC (Downtown Emergency Service Center) seeks a supervisory Clinical Support Services leader to coordinate clinical services for program residents. You will supervise CSS and Housing Stabilization Specialists, ensure high-quality documentation, and work with the Project Manager to hire and orient staff, while maintaining on-site service coordination and crisis response.

You will engage residents through therapeutic activities, develop Integrated Service Plans, and collaborate with external case

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services or management is required or equivalent experience.
• Two years of relevant work experience in human services.
• One year supervisory or leadership experience.
• WA Dept of Health Agency Affiliated Counselor credential or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision to Clinical Support Specialists and Housing Stabilization Specialist.
• Oversee documentation standards related to quality and frequency.
• In conjunction with Project Manager, hire and orient Clinical Support Specialists and Housing Stabilization Specialists.
• Provide on-site service coordination for program residents by carrying a small caseload.
• Support Residential Counselors in milieu therapy, crisis management, and daily building operations.
• Facilitate engagement of residents through strategies that build trust and confidence.
• Meet with residents and community case managers to develop Integrated Service Plans.
• Coordinate connections with outside case management as appropriate.
• Maintain contact with community case managers to resolve crises and monitor progress.
• Assist in management of building operations as needed.
• Intervene in crises and enforce building rules.
• Assist with other property management functions and daily documentation.
