Job summary

Metropolitan Veterinary Associates (MVA) is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Clinical Support Supervisor to oversee our Emergency Care team. As the Clinical Support Supervisor for the Emergency Department, you’ll supervise daily operations of our Emergency Technicians and Assistants and contribute to a high-standard, collaborative care environment.

  • Licensed CVT with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience coordinating work processes and scheduling.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of direct reports.
  • Schedule, workflow, and task delegation to ensure efficiency and patient care.
  • Train and develop team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality care standards.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to implement and improve operational protocols.
  • Act as a resource for clinical and administrative staff, addressing concerns and fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Maintain high communication standards with all team members and ensure delivery of exceptional patient and client care.

Metropolitan Veterinary Associates (MVA) is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Clinical Support Supervisor to oversee our growing our Emergency Care team. As the Clinical Support Supervisor for the Emergency Department, you’ll have the unique opportunity to contribute to a high-standard, collaborative care environment alongside a team of veterinary specialists and professionals.

The Clinical Support Supervisor will also help manage the daily operations of our Emergency Technicians and Assistants, coordinate work processes, and support the Emergency team. In addition to supervisory duties, there will be a hands-on component where the Clinical Support Supervisor will assist with various tasks as needed. This role requires flexibility, as the Clinical Support Supervisor will step in to handle any duties typical of a veterinary technician, depending on the needs of the team.

Compensation:

  • Starting salary: $75,000 annually
Schedule:
  • Schedule consists of 2 dayshifts and 2 mid-shifts per week with one weekend day each month
  • Participation in on-call schedule
  • Please note that this is a supervisory and clinical position, 50-60% floor time expected
